The Town of Hampton provides regular residential large item garbage pick-up, including appliances, furniture and other oversized household goods acceptable to the Fundy Region Solid Waste Commission. Item should only be placed curbside no earlier than the evening before the schedule pick-up to not impede snow removal efforts and to avoid items becoming water-logged.

Although the Town of Hampton Public Works crew regularly patrol streets to identify potholes and other road deficiencies, potholes can develop quickly when temperatures begin to hover around zero degrees.
Pothole complaints are addressed on both a priority and a scheduling basis. You can submit a pothole complaint by completing this webform.
If your vehicle is damaged because of striking a pothole, we suggest:
- Do not continue to drive your vehicle if it is not operating properly
- Record the exact location of the pothole and report it to the Town
- Have the vehicle inspected by a licensed mechanic
- You may wish to contact your insurance broker or insurer as you may have coverage for this type of vehicle damage
911 Emergency Service, Mail Delivery, Delivery Service and most Utility hook-ups require a valid Civic Address. Civic Addresses must be posted to receive any municipal services. We can’t help you if we can’t find you!

You can order a civic number plate (blue & white reflective) at the Rothesay Fire Department located at 7 Campbell Dr., Rothesay. Drop in any time or call (506) 848-6601. The cost is $15 per civic plate. You can also contact the New Brunswick 911 Bureru toll-free at 1-888-353-4444 or email NB9email@example.com to find a supplier of blue civic plates near you.
Every property owner must display their civic address in a way that is clearly visible from the main roadway leading to the home or business.
All dogs residing within the Town limits require a Town of Hampton dog tag. The tags are good for the lifetime of your dog. Cost: $20 ($10 for a replacement).
Dog owners can register their dogs by completing this webform or in person at the Town Hall located at 648 Main Street between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Town of Hampton Regular Town Council Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month, at 7pm, in the Council Chambers (lower level) of the Municipal Office at 27 Centennial Rd Hampton. Council meetings are open to the public.
If you would like to appear before council, you must submit this webform by noon of the Friday directly preceding the Council meeting.
