Town of Hampton Zoning Bylaw Amendment
The Town of Hampton is proposing an amendment to Zoning Bylaw 190-10 to include “commercial recreational establishment” as a permitted use in an existing Institutional zone. Council has asked that the Planning Advisory Committee provide their written recommendation on the amendment at their September meeting.
A Public Hearing is schedule for Tuesday, October 13th at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers.
The By-law can be viewed below. In addition, it can be viewed at the Town Office between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
Written objections can be submitted to the Town Clerk by 4:30 pm Wednesday, October 7th. They may be submitted to the Town Hall or via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Anyone wishing to attend the Public Hearing is asked to provide their name and contact information to the Town Clerk by 4:30 pm on Thursday, October 8th. You may call 832-6086, email: email@example.com or submit your name and contact information at the Town Hall.

The Council of the Town of Hampton, under the authority vested in it by Section 10(1) of the New Brunswick Local Governance Act and Section 62 of the New Brunswick Community Planning Act, Chapter 19 enacts as follows:
AMENDMENT TO SETION 12.1 PERMITTED USES
The addition of the following under section 12.1 Permitted Uses in an “I” Institutional Zone:
