PUBLIC NOTICE

Public Notice that Hampton Town Council, in compliance with the Local Governance Act and the Community Planning Actof the Province of New Brunswick, intends to consider the following proposed by-laws:

By-law No. HAM-2023-05 A By-law to Establish a Planning Advisory Committee

By-law No. HAM-2023-06 A By-law of the town of Hampton respecting the establishment of the Hampton Fire-Rescue and the Nauwigewauk Fire-Rescue Departments and the Prevention and Extinguishment of Fires (Fire By-law)

By-Law HAM-2023-07 A By-law to Establish an Emergency Plan For Hampton

By-Law HAM-2023-08 Police Protection Services By-law

By-Law HAM-2023-09 A By-law of Hampton Respecting Animal Control

Any person may inspect the proposed by-laws at the Town Hall, 648 Main Street, Hampton between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm on any day except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays or online at the Hampton website www.hampton.ca by searching “Draft By-laws.”

Anyone wishing to offer an opinion on any of these proposed by-laws may do so in person at the regular Council meeting of Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 7:00 pm at Town Hall, Council Chambers, 648 Main Street, Hampton or in writing by dropping off your letter during regular business hours to the office of the Clerk of the Town of Hampton, Town Hall, 648 Main Street before Noon on Friday, February 10, 2023.  A letter may also be sent by email to  megan@hampton.ca
