Lighthouse River Centre

The Lighthouse River Centre is one of the newer additions to Hampton's landscape. This multi-purpose rental facility is located on the banks of the Kennebecasis River at 1075 Main St.  The River Centre is the place to book your holiday parties, business meetings, community gatherings, small wedding receptions, environmental workshops and arts and culture awareness events, just to name a few possibilities. We are a designated "hotspot" for wireless.
The Lighthouse River Centre is part of the Lower River Passage Project, which is a tourism initiative of the St. John River Society involving the 130 km stretch of river communities between Saint John and Fredericton, including the five River Centre or River Landing sites along the historic St. John River: Hampton, Grand Bay-Westfield, Oromocto, Gagetown, and Young’s Cove / Waterborough (on Grand Lake).
The grounds boast many interpretive signs, ranging in topic from the history of Hampton to its natural wonders, and everything in between.  We are also a site owner for Stonehammer UNESCO Global Geopark.

The main level features a rental facility with chairs for 80, and is ready to host your event.  In the warmer months, the lower level houses Osprey Adventures, an outfitter who offers canoe and kayak rentals &/or tours. Or book yourself on the electric powered pontoon boat with Zelda's River Adventures , which embarks and disembarks from the Public Wharf at Lighthouse Park (located behind the Lighthouse River Centre).
