From Nov 1st until May 1st annually, from the hours of 12 midnight until 7am, no vehicle shall be parked on any street or sidewalk. The owner of the vehicle will be liable for a fine as established by Council as well as be responsible for the cost to have the vehicle towed away. Any person who violates this By-Law is guilty of an offense and liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding $500.
The Town of Hampton Works Department is asking all residents to keep all items set back on their properties during the winter months, i.e. garbage bins, containers, hockey nets, and driveway markers. This prevents damage to your articles and makes it safer for our snow plow operators. As well, there is a By-Law which states that nobody shall place snow over or upon any highway or roadway.
