This activity-based water orientation program is designed to improve breathing, floats, entries, and swimming skills to prepare the swimmer who is interested in Swim Team. Each class revolves around a creative theme.
7 – 19 years Swim Team
This is a great way to work on speed, endurance, and stroke development. The team is divided according to age groupings. Swimmers must be able to swim 25m. First come, first served.
14 years and older Bronze Cross
This award provides advanced water rescue training. Prerequisite: Bronze Medallion.
16 years and older Deep Water Aquacise

Join us for a challenging game of water polo.
No experience necessary!
Learn how to dribble, pass, shoot the ball and sea gull.
The pool is available for rentals evenings after 8:30;
Saturday and Sunday before and after regular
programming. Rental fees must be paid in advance to reserve the spot.

Membership & Recreational Swims
A pool membership entitles the holder to reduced rates for lessons and free admission to family, public and lap swims. Memberships are available for families and individuals.
These popular swims are open to all ages. An adult must accompany children who are less than 4 ½ feet. Check out the Leisure Services Website for times and cost.
This is a time designed for families. A guardian over the age of 16 years must accompany children. Check out the Leisure Services Website for times and cost.
There is no charge for this Saturday morning swim. An adult must accompany children who are under 4 ½ feet. 12:00-12:30pm
Lap lanes are set up for swimmers to take advantage of an excellent method of exercise.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00-8:00 AM $2.00
Lifeguards are in charge at all times.
3 whistle blasts = clear the pool immediately.
1 whistle blast = your attention is required.
Diving is permitted only in the deep end.
PFD’s, floats, and water wings are only permitted when an adult is accompanying the child into the water.
Masks, snorkels, fins, and hats are not permitted in the pool during busy swims.
No pulling or sitting on the rope.
Spitting, foul language, or rough play is not permitted.
Walk while on the deck.
Only proper swimwear is allowed.
Glassware must remain outside of the facility.
One person at a time on the diving boards.
Dive only when the area is cleared.
Immediately clear the area after diving.
Patrons not complying with the rules may be subject to:
1st Recorded written warning.
2nd Recorded one-day suspension (no refund).
3rd Recorded suspension of privileges (no refund).

This seven-level program allows your children to enter levels based on their age and abilities. Each level is built around an aquatic species theme and has its own mascot, which will make learning engaging and fun for young children.
Starfish 6-18 mo.old age-specific activities.
Duck 18 mo.-3 yr age-specific activities.
Sea Turtle 3-5 years; comfortably move, float and glide with assistance; put face in water; kick on front 2m using buoyant aid.
Salamander 3-5 years; float and glide on front and back without assistance; jump into chest deep water; assisted glides with kick; assisted 2m front swim.
Sunfish 3-5 years; change direction in shallow water; front and back floats in deep water; front and back glides with kick; distance swim 5m.
Crocodile 3-5 years; Distance swim 10m; jump into deep water; front and back swims 5m; surface support 10 sec in deep water unassisted.
Whale 3-5 years; Distance swim 2X10m; front crawl 7m; deep water activities.
6 years and older Red Cross Swim Kids
This 10-level program for school aged children will help swimmers develop all six swimming strokes, actively learn how to be safe around water, and increase their fitness and endurance through fun activities.
1 Distance swim 5m; submerge head; front and back glides with kicks
2 Distance swim 10m; side glide; rollover glide with kick; intro to deep water
3 Distance swim 15m; front crawl 3x5m; side glide with kick; sitting dives
4 Distance swim 25m; front crawl 3x10,; kick on back 3x15m; kneeling dive
